New Transit Route to serve both Camosun Campuses
In response to the need for increased transit service to Camosun College, BC Transit is introducing a new crosstown route that will serve both Interurban and Lansdowne campuses. The new route, Route 9 UVic/Royal Oak via Gorge/Hillside, will connect UVic with both Camosun College campuses, offering trips designed to match class start times.

The Universal Bus Pass (or U-Pass)—included in student fees, incorporated into your student ID, and revalidated each registration period—allows credit students unlimited access to all buses in the Victoria region at all times. Special Education and Continuing Education students are not eligible for the U-Pass program.
As a Camosun employee, you are eligible for a year-long ProPass bus pass at a reduced yearly cost. Application forms are available from your Payroll Benefit Assistant in Human Resources. The ProPass is a federal tax-deductible expense.

BC Transit provides a variety of options for accessibility.?
If you have a disability that prevents you from using regular public transit buses some or all of the time, you may be eligible for door-to-door custom transit services via HandyDart.
Bike & Ride
Try riding your bike one way and taking the bus the other. If your commute is too long to cycle the entire way, try cycling a portion and busing the next.
Victoria Regional Transit has a bike rack system on many of their bus routes to assist in longer commutes. These racks are available on low-floor buses and double-deckers.
Camosun offers free shuttle bus service between Lansdowne and Interurban campuses for students and employees. Camosun Express service runs from 8am to 5pm. Learn more.
