Bartender Training

Bartending is a job unlike any other. In this hands-on course, based on standards set by the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council, you will gain the skills and knowledge you will need to enter the world of bartending. Topics include: setting up the bar, stocking and bar management, terminology, LCB rules and your responsibilities, and customer service. ?Tuition includes course materials.

Prerequisite: Serve it Right (Server) certificate; must be 19 years of age.

Professional Cook: Practical Challenge Assessment

Camosun College conducts practical assessments for Professional Cooks working in the culinary industry and looking to achieve the practical assessment component of the Certificate of Qualification for Professional Cook-1, 2, or 3 (PC-1, PC-2, PC-3).? Cooking with Curry New

Unlock the flavours of authentic Indian cuisine! Inspired by Chef Heidi’s travels in India and her lifelong love of Indian food, this class is perfect for those who love curry but can never make their curries taste "right". In class, she will focus on the key techniques that make vibrant, full-bodied Indian food. Clarify the world of Indian spices and learn how to make delicious food at home! Tonight’s menu includes homemade curry powder, fresh mint chutney, pappadum, spiced cauliflower, and traditional North Indian curry (either vegetarian or meat) with basmati rice.
